The Physics 教师 will teach general physics lecture and lab to biology and biomedical/health sciences majors and physical science to non-majors. The ability to contribute to math and/or chemistry courses is preferred. The faculty member must be able to advance the evangelical Christian mission of the institution. The faculty member will instruct and advise science majors and collaborate with other faculty in administering goals, 程序开发, 以及项目活动. Teaching load is 24 semester hours annually.

• Teach up to eight (8) college level courses per year (24 semester hours) across the fields of general physics lecture and laboratory courses, physical science as well as math and/or general chemistry.
• Advise students within the sciences as needed.

• Serve on committees as assigned within the university.
• Assist regularly with assessment of CIU’s science curriculum.
• Participate in faculty meetings at the college and university level; attend other appropriate events. including chapel, conferences, and student events.
